Services

What do I need to book an appointment?

  • A vet referral is required before I am able to have a consultation with your pet, and this is required by law under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. If you enquire about booking a consultation with me, I will send you or your vet a referral form, and ideally the clinical history of your animal so I have all the details required.

Is this covered by insurance?

  • Depending on your insurance policy, physiotherapy consultations can be covered. There is normally a set limit of physiotherapy sessions that are covered per year or per condition, so please check prior to booking if this is something you would like to do. Payment is required to CVP before you can claim back from your insurance, we cannot be paid directly from your insurance. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Do you offer discounts?

  • Discounts are offered if there are multiple pets within a house/ yard to be treated concurrently. £5 is taken off per consultation for 2 or more animals.

What do I need in the appointment?

Dogs and cats

  • Somewhere quiet to treat, ideally on carpet and on a blanket. We like to avoid using their bed as this should remain as their safe space, away from being interfered with.

  • The pet needs to be clean and dry.

  • Treats! Ideally, two types of treats if possible for your pet. Tidbit type treats such as Dreamies, dog treats etc. Also something that can be licked, such as Licki-lix or a lick mat. Do not worry if you cannot use or get the lickable treats.

Horses

  • If you have no access to a covered area and the weather is wet, we may need to rearrange to a different day (See T&Cs). I unfortunately cannot treat a wet horse as this can be painful.

  • Horses: A lick pot is beneficial for baited stretches.
